Discovering Our Family History Together
Topic: Plan Ahead: Mining all the Gems for Your Research Trips
Speaker: Pamela Brigham
Benjamin Franklin said, “Failing to plan is planning to fail”. Research trips take a lot of planning to make sure you get the most out of them. They require doing your homework. In this class we’ll discuss how contacting archives, joining a local society, and making sure you’re aware of holidays, hours, and online sources are all helpful to make sure you mine all the gems from your research trip.
