If you registered for Dianhan Southard's seminar, Making Sense of Your DNA Matches, you should have received an email message with links to the video recordings of her talks. She covered a lot of difficult material, so you may want to watch the recordings again. The recordings will be available only until December 5.

We are sad to announce the loss of another valued SMCGS member, Ruth Satterthwaite. Ruth worked behind the scenes in the library, managing all our periodicals, and she was a cheerful volunteer on many SMCGS projects. Do you have memories of Ruth that you would like to share? Barry Hinman, a valued long-time member of SMCGS and Librarian Emeritus at Stanford University, passed away recently.
