| The San Mateo County Genealogical Society invites you to explore the many benefits of being a member of our Society. Some of those benefits include the use of our excellent genealogical library, filled with over 5500 books and publications on all states and many countries. There are also over 870 CDs and a bi-monthly newsletter. SMCGS offers monthly programs, many of which feature well-known speakers on "hot" genealogical topics, as well as semi-annual all day seminars.
