DNA Interest Group

The DNA interest group meets regularly on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 2:15 to 3.45 pm in the Cañada College Library.

In January 2017 this group started working through the book Genetic Genealogy in Practice by Blaine Bettinger and Debbie Parker Wayne.  More information about the book can be found on the National Genealogical Society's website.

If you have question about the group or the book study please contact Chris Green at pastpres@smcgs.org.

The purpose of this group is to ask questions and get help interpreting your DNA results and deciding on next steps. The format is similar to that of all of our Special Interest Groups – there will be no charge to attend but membership in SMCGS is a requirement to join.
